Terms of Service
Effective July 3, 2026
1. What DailyDog is
DailyDog (operated from New York, NY) provides informational reports about New York City properties, compiled from public government records: permits, job filings, violations, and complaints. We add organization, cross-referencing, risk scoring, and plain-English explanation.
DailyDog is not a law firm, title company, licensed expediter, or government agency, and is not affiliated with the NYC Department of Buildings. Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or professional advice. Decisions about a transaction should be made with your attorney and other licensed professionals.
2. Accuracy of information
Our reports reflect government records as published at the time of retrieval. City records contain errors, omissions, and delays that we cannot control, and our risk scoring is an informed interpretation, not a guarantee. We do not warrant that a report is complete or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to scrape it, or interfere with its operation.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Report details unlock with credits. The DailyDog Watch membership is a monthly subscription that adds one credit per billing period (unused credits roll over) and enables daily watching of up to five properties; members may purchase additional credits. An unlocked report stays unlocked. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number.
You can cancel the membership at any time from the portal's Manage Subscription page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and remaining credits stay spendable. Because reports deliver their value immediately upon unlock, purchases are generally non-refundable — but if something went wrong, reach out through the contact page and we'll make it right.
5. Acceptable use
Reports are for your own use (or your client's, if you're a professional). Don't resell, bulk-scrape, or systematically redistribute our reports or data extracts. For bulk, API, or portfolio access, reach out through the contact page.
6. Changes and termination
We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We may discontinue the service with reasonable notice, in which case active subscriptions are refunded pro-rata.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DailyDog's total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost deals.
